No color……No cancer
Once upon a time, there was a very sad and disturbed individual named @jennafighter12. “Jenna,” aka “Kayla,” craved attention so much that she decided to live her life through someone else. But, the person she chose to impersonate was no longer living. Jenna/Kayla convinced many other’s that she was 17-years-old, dying of cancer and had only a few weeks to live. There were many people that heard about her story and compassionately reached out to her. She received an outpouring of support from caring and concerned Twitter followers, as well. Jenna/Kayla’s mother, “Cameron,” created a blog to share her daughter’s progress and treatment with cancer. And, just like her Twitter followers, her blog was discovered by many other kindhearted people. However, Cameron was really another twisted soul living her life through a mom who, actually, did suffer the loss of her own daughter to cancer. Most of the content from Cameron’s blog was plagiarized from the true heart broken mother’s blog. And, ALL of the pictures seen on the blog are of the REAL KAYLA and her family. Once the news broke that @jennafighter12, aka Kayla, aka Cameron was a hoax, her followers became very hurt and angry. People began questioning her and asking, “Why would you do this?” @jennafighter12 deleted her Twitter account and has disappeared. However, mom Cameron’s blog is still up and running claiming that her daughter, Kayla, will pass away sometime in July.
In the end, Jenna/Kayla/Cameron got the attention she desired and so desperately wanted. Did she kill or destroy the real Kayla’s family? Absolutely not. Jenna/Kayla/Cameron, I would like to thank you from the bottom of my heart for being so stupid and disgusting. Due to your insanity, Kayla’s story has reached thousands all over the world just within the last 24 hours. People that knew nothing about my precious daughter who only lived to be 17, suffered and died on September 22, 2010, now know a little bit about my child who was gone too soon due to childhood cancer.
It was three years ago today that Kayla was diagnosed with AML acute myeloid leukemia. It’s still so painful, hurtful, sickening, sad, etc. to remember that day. But, I will not allow crazy and pathetic humans to make this day or any other day worse for my family and me. I will continue to write on my blog and not be detoured to go in another direction because of someone’s disturbing actions.
If you would like to view the fake blog written by “Cameron, ” the mother of another “Kayla,” please visit the link below. I do not want to give her anymore publicity and I KNOW SHE IS READING THIS. But, I would like for other’s to see what some idiots will do just to acquire a large amount of attention:
